Rustblade REL.DATE... 29.12.2009 BLACK SUN PRODUCTIONS is the project of MASSIMO & PIERCE, a duo of producers and performers based in Zurich, Switzerland, former members of "COIL Live" and creators of the "Plastic Spider Thing Show". Besides BLACK SUN PRODUCTIONS, their discography features an array of guest artists such as COIL, LYDIA LUNCH, HR GIGER, VAL DENHAM, SUDDEN INFANT, NIKO SKORPIO, SONNE HAGAL, ANDREW ZEALLEY and many others. With Stefano Rossello (BAHNTIER, DETUNE-X, KETVECTOR) they have been collaborating on a number of projects since 2006 and "Enoeraew" is the first full length album as a trio. Tracks produced over the years have been reworked alongside brand new pieces recorded in Spring 2009 in Zurich. The album was then mixed and produced by Stefano in Italy. In "Enoeraew", MASSIMO & PIERCE's experimentalism meets BAHNTIER's electro-industrial dance music, resulting in hypnotic arrangements for an oneiric and poetic journey into the realms of Ritual Music. The themes of Love and Desire, Magic and Death are insightfully investigated here and the result is an aural experience of electronica, melodies and acoustic instruments melting into a tantalizing new genre. The album also contains a cover of "Sweethome Under White Clouds" by THE VIRGIN PRUNES.
