"Zov Predkov" (The Call Of The Wild) is the first full-length album from the well-known masters of deep, ritualistic, shamanic Dark Ambient. "Fabrication 2" is the sequel to "Fabrication”, the first collaboration between Richard Chartier and Asmus Tietchens released in 2007 (Die Stadt). Whereas for the first collaboration the idea developed from the project around reinterpretations of Chartier’s "Postfabricated”, this time the efforts were directly focused on the reinterpretation of specific basic sound material. This material can be found on the first disc of "Prefabrication 2″, which was constructed by Richard Chartier alone in Montreal and Washington, DC. "Fabrication 2″ is the reworking of this sonic basis by Asmus Tietchens. Whereas the first CD has traces of subtle dematerialised rhythmic structures, the second disc is a study in minimalism and concentrated sound manipulation. Blind Jesus are Stefano Pillia and Andrew Hooker. This is a journey into free improv noise ambient performed by the duo comprised of Stefano Pilia (3/4havebeeneliminated) on guitar, audio collages and effects, and media artist Andrew Hooker on electronics. Conceived as a manifesto for the Von label, "Choir" is an audiovisual experiment, that takes the shape of an installation and live media event, as well as a limited edition video work. The image and sound is a superposition of source material selected by the artists and overlayered in order to produce a ghostly image an "hypnotic tantric metal experience” as some of the first viewers of the piece told. Choir is an hypnotic journey into the imaginary of this two artists.The sound is asynchronous and comes from different selection creating an amalgam of sources and influences. This release presents the Ghostly Choir of the influences and imaginary background of these two artist. Ltd x 500 copies in a card sleeve.

Heralded as one of the progenitors of black ambient music, Funerary Call (aka Harlow MacFarlane of Sistrenatus) returns from dormancy with his darkest release to date. "Dark Waters Stirred" is a ceremonial maelstrom of ominous electronics, doom-laden guitars and dark ambient textures. An audial descent into ritualistic obscurity and misanthropy. Lago Morto is a band conceived by Italian artist Nico Vascellari as contribution to the exhibition ‘Rock Scissors Paper’ (Kunsthaus Graz). Lago Morto is ‘a social punk sculpture’, a way ‘to turn the model of the cast band upside down. Lago Morto is about things that casting calls usually exclude - targeted aggression, unpredic social effects and local politics’. The result is a band that toured for 15 days in Vittorio Veneto in non musical venues such as bar, osteria, pizzeria, launderette, video store etc. The LP contains all 14 songs the band has created. LIYR is a French martial act born in 2008. Heavily inspired by neoclassical, bombastic percussion and industrial martial sounds Liyr creates his own characteristic atmosphere. Behind the harshness of the percussion, there is an esoteric thought about Celtic tradition and legends - LIYR is the God of Sea in Celtic myths. But the main idea is that we all live in a changing world dominated by sort of feelings like hate and love, fear and pleasure - in his music and lyrics LIYR talks about all these feelings. Digipak.

This 40-minute long journey is inspired by the art of Bocklin, Caspar David Friedrich, Fulci and classic B&W horror movies. "'Gene P' was released as a cassette in 1980, and among the true Bianchi devotees old = best. On the first track (both tracks are untitled) Bianchi uses tape-loops of what could vaguely sound like gamelan music, or wind chimes. Its music with not many changes, music that is not loud and actually quite pleasing. The other side is more experimental. It uses vinyl, scratchy vinyl that is, with the needle jumping all over the place... A most typical work from the years of cassette releases" (Vital Weekly). Over the last few dogs days of summer 2008, Italy’s OvO and Canada’s Nadja got together in their adoptive city of Berlin at Einstürzende Neubauten’s andereBaustelle Studio. With engineer Boris Wilsdorf at the board, each duo began two songs and had the other duo finish them, Bruno and Stefania adding heavy, pounding rhythms and harsh, eerie vocals to Aidan and Leah’s ambient textures and bass-heavy drones. The album, while still heavy and still retaining signature sounds of both groups, turned out mellower than either band expected. But this mellowness gives the songs a greater sense of presence and allows for the intricacies and nuances of each individual’s contributions to be properly heard. With a final mastering by James Plotkin, this album sounds simultaneously harsh and lush, aggressive and warm. R.Y.N. are a UK-based duo probably best known for their Astral Death CD (Unrest Productions) and an excellent 7" on Drone Records. On this vinyl-only release R.Y.N. present 44 minutes of completely new recordings: a mix of archaic, unsettling, new and melancholy. This album took many months to record as a result of the careful attention paid to the record by the duo. This LP provides both classic R.Y.N. darkness plus even heavier oppressive, dark, soundscapes that can only be fully appreciated on vinyl over the two side-long tracks: Archaic Techniques Of Ecstacy and Provisional Sketch Of The Mind. If you don't know their work then this is definitely worth exploring. If you do know them then this is a must.
