Extremo Ocidente proudly announces the imminent release of DEATH IN JUNE's "Peaceful Snow/The Maverick Chamber" 7" vinyl.
The two songs are the first new material to come to light since "The Rule of Thirds". These new tracks offer not only the same radical departure from more complex song arrangements as on the previous album but this time also a departure from the use of acoustic guitar. Instead the instrument chosen to accompany Douglas Pearce's voice is the piano, played by Miro Snejder. Some might be tempted to say that this is a new direction for DEATH IN JUNE yet we have to disagree, as for almost 30 years this has been a ship that has maintained its course against all odds.
This edition of the single is limited to 880 numbered copies and comes pressed on pink vinyl and housed on a cover with embossed lettering and a debossed foilblock Whiphand logo. The record comes with a lyric sheet/insert and three postcards.
