Awake the New Dawn! Aeterna
is a new apocalyptic folk outfit from Germany, born in 2007. In the
beginning it was intended to be the strictly personal musical outlet
for founding member Birthe Klementowski, well-known from her artwork
for Cold Meat Industry?s Desiderii Marginis, :Golgatha: and Dawn &
Dusk Entwined, but the dynamics between Alpha and Omega brought forth
something new. The dark and brooding atmospheres invoke the mood of
decline and decay, a direct resemblance to the artist?s photography.
The album ?New Dawn? ultimately presents 11 songs about the decline and
rebirth of culture. Aeterna does not serve ideological pattern
but presents the musical and visual output as an inspiration for the
audience. Death is always the beginning of a new circle. Out of
hopelessness arises a New Dawn. As the earth faces the end of resources
and the destruction of nature, the loss of spiritual values and the
total virtualisation of the all-day life, mankind experiences a self
made inferno. We have to turn and find new ways? Aeterna is a prayer
for these new ways. For new spiritual values to ignite the fire of
enlightenment once more. To create something new out of the old roots.
The Old Gods eventually may not return, but the Eternal Principle is
still there.
The music of Aeterna is based on ritualistic and
shamanistic structures, mainly acoustic sounds, and invoking chants ?
all based on the dualistic principle of male and female energy ? Alpha
& Omega. Aeterna is a trans-modern, neo-shamanistic, animistic art
project. A Luciferian hymnus to awake the New Dawn?
:GOLGATHA: - The Waste Land CD
The
German ritual-folk-formation :Golgatha: was founded in 2004 by
Christoph Donarski. The first full length album ?Waste Land? after two
compilation tracks appeared in an edition of 100 hand-numbered CD-rs.
Published by the musician himself it shed first light on things to
come. ?Waste Land? is the rare prequel to the acclaimed and successful
2008-album ?Sang Graal? (with Dawn & Dusk Entwined) and is itself
inspired by T. S. Eliot?s enigmatic grail-poem ?The Waste Land? which
works as a key metaphor for a spiritually dying world. On ?Waste
Land? sinister and pessimistic soundscapes unfold and spread fragmented
allusions and remarks on spiritual death and cultural clash. The
symbolic name of :Golgatha: - which is the execution hill in Jerusalem
where Jesus had been crucified - was never more fitting than in this
early apocalyptic soundtrack for an Inner Cinema, carried by ritual
drums, dark drones, mysterious sounds and sacred voices. For this
re-release the original sound was totally re-mastered and appears more
powerful than ever before. The original artwork is added by bleak
photos from the same era to complete the image. This CD contains two
original versions of tracks later remixed by Dawn & Dusk Entwined
for ?Sang Graal?. Bonus tracks: two combined tracks from ?In the
Crystal Cage?-compilation (2004) and ?Shred your skin? from the SAW
II-soundtrack by Charlie Clouser (Trisol).

GENOCIDE ORGAN - Live in Japan 2003/2007 CD/DVD - LP
Finally,
this long awaited document is available! Japan has been a wasteland for
German "industrial" and/or "power electronics" bands for many years,
but in 2003, Genocide Organ entered the motherland of noise. Invited by
Teito and MSBR, Genocide Organ played two remarkable shows in Tokyo.
The first in a typical noise/hardcore club called 20000V, and the
second at a small theatre called Die Pratze. Because of the two
different locations and atmospheres, G.O. prepared two completely
different sets. While the material at 20000V featured tracks from what
was, at the time, the forthcoming album "In-Konflikt," plus a selection
of powerful, well-known tracks, the setlist at Die Pratze featured more
"calm" and unreleased tracks integrated into a theatrical-type
performance. Both gigs represent the repertoire of Genocide Organ,
which makes this band more than just a phenomenon of one genre. The
two shows are presented here on DVD in their entirety, edited from
three different camera angles by Frank Merten of Seismic Wave Factory,
known for the visuals of Herbst9 and Land:Fire. The DVD is
professionally mastered and features a fully animated menu. In 2007,
Genocide Organ returned to Tokyo for two more shows, both hosted at
20000V, and again, each show had a different setlist. The audio CD in
this collection features a selection of the best tracks from both
evenings. Many had never been released or played live before, while
some "old favorites" appear here in completely different versions. The
quality of the recording is amazing, and you will feel the full power
of these two gigs. This DVD/CD set is part of the GO RECON UNIT
program - all those who order with their RECON CARD number will get
special extras with their set. Those who have no ID card are able to
get the card now in order to receive extras with future releases.

ROME - Flowers From Exile CD
finally
a new Rome CD, theme the spanish civil war, great tracks another step
ahead! News from the orchards of ROME. With their works inspired by
expressionist literature and the feeling of departure of the early 20th
Century, ROME has made quite a name for itself in the European
underground. Within only 3 years ROME have released their debut EP and
three full-length albums. ROME's music is steeped in melancholy, loss
and despair and a sacred solitude that is defined by the detachment
from all political and religious systems. ROME proves yet again
that they have created a unique brand of apocalyptic folk with subtle
lyrics, a haunting voice, melodic guitar work and a sound coming from
the nebulous depths of European history.

DIE WEISSE ROSE - A Martyrium of White Roses (Black vinyl)
IF YOU STILL WANT THIS PIECE ON VINYL THEN I URGE YOU TO HURRY UP! ONLY FEW LEFT - AND ONLY BLACK COLOUR LEFT! It
might seem strange that a band without a single release to its name has
played concerts and festivals all over Europe. But anyone who has ever
experienced Die Weisse Rose on stage knows why.
More than
concerts, Die Weisse Rose?s performances are elaborate rituals,
caleidoscopic (or even psychedelic) experiences. Elements such as
uniforms, burning torches, snippets of old schlägers, segments from
documentary films and philosophical proclamations are wowen together by
orgies of live drums and electronic sounds.
Die Weisse strives
towards what Wagner called ?Gesamtkunstwerke? ? total works of art.
When most other bands talk about Gesamtkunstwerke, it sounds
pretentious. When Die Weisse Rose do it, it makes sense.
Die
Weisse Rose also like to think of their songs as ?audiodocumentaries?.
Again, such a seemingly pretentious term makes sense, as Die Weisse
Rose?s art is just as indebted to the History Channel as to Throbbing
Gristle.
To bolster Die Weisse Rose?s lineup (which really
consists only of the band?s mastermind, Thomas B?) over the years the
unit has recruited collaborators to its ranks that makes DWR smack of
an Industrial supergroup. From Marco Deplano (Foresta di Ferro),
Gerhard (Allerseelen), Kim Larsen (Of the Wand and the Moon) to name
but a few.
In return, Thomas B? has returned the favour and
played with a who?s who of of the Industrial and Neofolk underground,
from well-established outfits like Rome, Blood Axis and Foresta Di
Ferro to up-and-coming Austrian neofolk band Klammheim.
Now, Die
Weisse Rose are for the first time available on record. If you fear
that we have another ?martial? clone band on our hands, prepare to be
pleasantly surprised. The music is painstakingly crafted and
orchestrated to perfection to include electronic elements, field
recordings and real instruments, and its creative merits really stand
out in an underground culture where bands of far lesser talents than
Die Weisse Rose would release three albums in the time Die Weisse Rose
have patiently worked on theirs.

NAVICON TORTURE TECHNOLOGIES - The Gospels of the Gash
The
final and definitive double CD release from NTT, The Gospels of the
Gash chronicles one man's journey into a world devoid of light or hope.
This is a place where the air is alive with the stink of pain and the
beating of great black wings. The two discs compile material from a
slew of limited releases from 2005-2007, as well as newer tracks
recorded specifically for this release. As a result, Gospels of the
Gash is unquestionably the most complete NTT recording to date and
nothing short of a monumental achievement...a culmination of the best
aspects of past releases combined into an epic odyssey of apocalyptic
atmospheres, brutish frequencies, harrowing darkness, and razor sharp
vocals.
The Gospels of the Gash includes collaborations with various
stalwart members of the NTT priesthood such as Cenotype, Fragment King,
and M Slagle and more recent converts Autoclav 1.1 and Covet. Isomer
and Steel Hook Prostheses have also made valuable contributions. Mastered by STROM.ec, and packaged in a two-tray DVDigipak with layout and artwork by Leech and Jorden Haley (www.karbine.com), this release is a fitting funerary rite for NTT.
